Hotel Facilities

The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:00-10:00), lunch (12:30-14:30) and dinner (W:18:30-22:00, S:19:00-22:00), all buffet style with international cuisine and show cooking, served in the main restaurant Plaza. Late breakfast can be taken at the pool area from 10:00-12:00 and late lunch from 14:00-17:00. Light snacks such as fruit, salads and hot snacks like burgers, French fries and mini pizzas are available between 12:00 & 14:00 (rotating menu) at the pool bar. Pizza is on offer at the beach from 10:00 till sunset. Afternoon tea & coffee time with cakes is from 15:00 till sunset by the pool. Late snacks can be found from 24:00-01:00 at the pool area. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like beer, wine, cocktails (with or without alcohol), gin, vodka, juices, brandy, ouzo, soft drinks, tea, coffee and mineral water are served at the pool bar (24hrs), the beach bar (10:00-sunset) and the lobby bar (10:00-24:00) – according to each outlet’s menu. In-room mini bars are filled with a large bottle of water on arrival day only.Sport facilities at the hotel include an exotic swimming pool with water slides and another large swimming pool divided into two sections for adults & children, tennis, fitness area, aerobics, step aerobics, aqua gym, water polo, gymnastics, boccia, backgammon, cooking lessons (one per week) and mini zoo. There are various events, shows and entertainment programmes. Calimerini Kids club is also available for children between 4 - 12 years old with playground and children’s corner with separate dinner table and entertainment until 20:30.Telephone, internet corner, laundry, lobster, ice cream, cappuccino, espresso, mini bar, beverage bottles, billiards, massage, on call doctor, floodlit tennis, shuttle bus, oriental tent, food & beverage in the disco, horse riding, camel riding and diving centre are available at a charge.Next to the hotel a seawater lagoon with a private beach is located. Othe facilities include volleyball courts, shopping centre, safari, full moon disco. The Hauza Zoo with various collections of animals: Lama, Pony, Turtles, Flamingo, Ostrich, Crocodiles, Agama and Camel.On entry into Egypt, guests must obtain a visitors visa at the port of entry; the fee is £13 (subject to change). Sharm El Sheikh is considered a free zone, due to being located in the Sinai Peninsula. Travel on excursions outside the peninsula, the visitor’s visa is a requirement. It is recommended that guests should see the Medhotels rep on arrival, to assist them with obtaining the visa.Please note that the fitness room is currently out of order and will remain closed until further notice, due to renovation works. Also one of the restaurants will remain closed until further notice, due to renovation works. Furthermore the mini zoo will undergo some building works, completion date remains unknown.

All 505 guest rooms in the Hauza Beach Resort hotel feature a private bathroom, air-conditioning, satellite TV, hair dryer, telephone, and a balcony or terrace for outdoor living. Please note all rooms have 2 queen beds, 2nd child discount/free stay is based on sharing a bed. If an extra bed is requested for the 2nd child the extra bed charge will apply. Family room: separate area for 2 or 3 children. Suite: open plan with lounge area. Connecting/2 disabled access rooms (not fully equipped and a far distance from the beach and other hotel facilities) available upon request.
