Cala Galdana
The picturesque resort of Cala Galdana is located on the south coast of Menorca only a few kilometers from Ferreries. Known as ‘The Queen of the Calas’, Cala Galdana it is one of Menorca's most loved, most photographed and most visited resorts – despite its small size. Situated on a horseshoe beach flanked by towering cliffs lines with shady pine trees, this area is a good base for the many scenic walks around the Menorcan countryside and along the coastal paths leading to secluded natural beaches, untouched by the growth in tourism. The complex has 2 buffet restaurants, the Alexandra, which offers a wide variety and the Santa Galdana with show cooking and the choice of a set menu or à la carte. Various vegetarian dishes are also available. Also available are 2 snack bars both have a view of the beach.Sporting and leisure activities include a fully equipped gym and 2 tennis courts. Audax Sports & Nature Activities Centre offers a variety of activities such as hiking, rod fishing, mountain bike excursions, canoeing, diving and tennis.
