In the buffet restaurant, variety is the keynote and all the meals are a journey through Portuguese and international cuisine. The food and beverage offer at the hotel comprises: the Valhalla Restaurant - buffet and à-la-carte, the Tapas Bar - Iberian delicacies, the Porches Praia Club House, the Gallery Bar, and the Pool Bistro - next to the swimming pool.The hotel offers four fresh water swimming pools, of which two are for children and one is a large indoor heated pool, a Health club with a small gymnasium with cardio machines, Jacuzzi, sauna and masseur, a floodlit tennis court available at the resort (payable) with rackets and balls to hire, squash court and a games room. The hotel also provides an evening entertainment program with live music and shows in the Galery Bar. The hotel has direct access to the beach of “Senhora da Rocha” where guests can find a concessionary sun bed area under private management (direct payment).
Furthermore, because of its central location, the hotel is an acceptable distance from all the infrastructure available on the Algarve, specifically Pestana Carvoeiro Golf (with special prices for guests), riding schools, diving schools, water parks, theme parks and places of historic interest.
