The Gardenia Plaza Resort sits surrounded by the ever popular and picturesque Sharm El Shiekh only 2km from Sharks Bay Beach, overlooking the Gulf of Aqaba. Appealing to holidaymakers throughout the year owing to the wonderful climate it enjoys 365 days a year. The bay is home to millions of soft corals owing to the sandy canyon below the rugged shoreline creating many crevices that promote a great environment for the coral. The Gardenia Plaza offers guests a typically warm Egyptian welcome, a wealth of activities and bilingual staff only too happy to make your stay memorable. A new addition to the hotel is the Gardenia’s private beach located in Sharm El Maya Bay, close to the old market – great shopping, street cafes, restaurant and bars – guests are easily transported from the hotel using the free shuttle bus service.
Local tips: The hotel’s Aquapark is well worth a visit, for only a small charge the opportunity for fun in the sun is endless with rides and slides, a lazy river and plenty of opportunity to relax for all the family.
The hotels main pool and childrens playground will be undergoing maintenance for the month of May 2010, alternative pools are available at the hotel.

The Hotel's new Gardenia Beach is located in Sharm El Maya Bay (near to the Old Market), 25 minutes from the hotel (free shuttle bus, schedule applies). Facilities include swimming pool, restaurant, bar, mini football playground, bathrooms and showers, umbrellas, sunbeds and kids area.
Food, drink and entertainment: the Gardenia offers guests a choice of dining options including 3 restaurants; 1 international buffet style serving cuisine from around the world and 2 a la carte all serving main meals, lighter meals and snacks are served throughout the day from the cafe’s, coffee houses, adjacent to the swimming pools and at the private beach, drinks are served from all of the hotel’s 5 bars including the bar at the beach. Regular evening entertainment includes folklore, dancing, live music, cabaret and disco.
Sport, games and activities: 4 large swimming pools including juniors and ladies only, large spacious sun terraces with ample sun loungers and parasols, table tennis, tennis court, billiards, well equipped gym, (reservations required), Jacuzzi pool, football, basketball, full service Spa, sauna, Turkish bath, massage, therapy/treatment rooms.

The Gardenia Plaza Resort features spacious comfortable guest rooms fully equipped with full bathroom, satellite tv, air conditioning/climate control, mini fridge, hairdryer, in room safe, wifi internet, (local charge). Extra bedding, linen, towels, ironing facilities and infant cots are available on request. One or two bedroom family suites are also available on request. All rooms enjoy a furnished balcony/terrace offering great views.
